About Expose Photography
Hi, I'm Siân, founder of Expose Photography.
Photography has been my passion since 2013, and when I started Expose Photography in 2017, I had one simple goal: to create natural, relaxed photographs that tell genuine stories. Whether we're welcoming a family's newest arrival, creating professional branding images, capturing a beloved pet or documenting life's biggest milestones, we believe the best photographs come from real moments and real connections.
My photography journey started when I was just 16 years old, photographing families, weddings, events and portraits. I later studied photography in Perth, Australia, where I completed a two-year Advanced Diploma in Photography at TAFE. After graduating, I worked in a busy professional photography studio, photographing hundreds of families and developing the relaxed, natural style that continues to shape Expose Photography today.
Alongside photography, I've worked as a children's party host, babysitter and disability support worker. Those experiences taught me patience, adaptability and how to help people of all ages feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Whether we're photographing energetic toddlers, nervous adults or large family groups, creating a calm and enjoyable experience is just as important as the photographs themselves.
After returning to Wales in 2021, I relaunched Expose Photography, bringing everything I'd learned in Australia to families and businesses across South Wales.
What began as just me behind the camera has grown into a wonderful team who all share the same values: creating beautiful photography while making every client feel welcome, relaxed and genuinely looked after.
Although the business has grown, every part of Expose Photography is still built around the same vision I started with over a decade ago. I remain closely involved in every aspect of the business, from photographing clients to ensuring every experience reflects the high standards we're known for.
Veronica
Ronnie joined Expose Photography to help support the continued growth of the business. You'll often find her chatting with local businesses, building new relationships, and helping connect more people with our photography services. Friendly, approachable and always happy to help, she's a valued member of the team.
Seren
Seren is a key part of the Expose Photography team, helping to grow the business through marketing, social media and building relationships with local businesses, particularly nurseries. With a friendly and approachable nature, she enjoys connecting with people and helping more families and businesses discover what Expose Photography has to offer.
Kate
Kate is our dedicated wedding photographer, capturing every celebration with a natural, relaxed and timeless style. She has a wonderful ability to help couples feel at ease, allowing genuine moments and emotions to shine through. Passionate about storytelling, Kate loves creating beautiful images that couples will treasure for years to come.
Our Approach
We know that being in front of a camera doesn't always come naturally, and that's completely okay.
Our sessions are relaxed, friendly and never rushed. We'll guide you whenever you need it, while allowing plenty of space for genuine moments to unfold naturally. Whether you're visiting our Cardiff studio or meeting us on location, our aim is for you to leave with not only beautiful photographs, but wonderful memories of the experience too.
